Downloading NetBiochem for Local Modification and Repurposing
All of NetBiochem, including text, animations and graphics, can be captured to a local hard drive. There you can modify it in any way that pleases you. You can run the modified version locally for your own purposes as long as you do not charge anyone any fee for the use of the material (see copyright information below). Further, you can use the animations and graphics to illustrate your lectures or other local presentations. A binhexed version of all the NetBiochem files is now available by anonymous ftp.
If you do any of this we would like to know about it (our addresses are at the end of the NetBiochem Welcome Page).
If you run a modified version locally, please indicate prominently that it is a modified version.
Please name NetBiochem as the source if you capture and adapt any of our material to your own needs.
An early version of a portion of this material (Heme and Iron only) is also available through the kindness of Dr. T. W. Tan and his colleagues at the University of Singapore.
Users who are far from the United States, and who experience long transmission times, might wish to try this site.
