| InfoFair | InfoFair is an annual event at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center with the goal of providing up-to-date information on computer services, applications and resources as well as a glimpse into the future of computing in the health sciences. |
| LIFT Forum | The purpose of the Library and Information Technology Forum is to inform the University of Utah community about electronic information resources, and current trends in the use of computers and online technologies for accessing these resources. The Forum is generally held the second Wednesday of each month between September and May, in the Health Sciences Education Building, and is co-sponsored by the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library and the Media-On-Demand committee. |
| Priscilla Mayden Lecture | The annual Mayden Lecture was established in honor of Priscilla Maltby Mayden (1918-2011), recognizing her service to the University of Utah as Director of the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library from 1967 - 1984. This lectureship has allowed the Eccles Library to invite knowledgeable and exciting speakers on the myriad ways technology and medicine interact to the benefit of the library and medical professions. |
