Helping consumers find affordable coverage
As noted in the weekly MidContinental Region News newsletter: “Last week, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services launched HealthCare.gov, a new online tool for consumers. The site connects consumers with information and resources to help them access quality, affordable coverage in their community.”
Furniture and ceiling tiles going in
Furniture continues to arrive on the main floor from storage while contractors are speedily installing the ceiling tiles on the lower level.
Using an improv skit and video to save the library
Faced with drastic budget cuts the NY public library teamed up with two viral marketing companies to create two videos detailing their plight. After over 2 million views of the viral videos New York Public Library supporters succeeded in getting their city council to reduce the size of the budget cuts. Enjoy!
Funding support tags on NLM website
The National Library of Medicine has updated its web page that explains “the various research funding support tags that are searchable in PubMed.”
