This program has a prerequisite and you have two choices:
- Take the online class linked at: https://utah.instructure.com/courses/172949; this will prepare you for the hands-on session from 12:05-1:00 p.m. If you have questions or a scenario you would like evaluated, send to Allyson Mower ahead of the October 10 session.
- OR you can attend the October 10 session from 11:30-Noon to get the information that informs the hands-on session from 12:05-1:00 p.m.
Hands-on Program from 12:05-1:00 p.m.: Do you have questions about copyright and what you can use in your teaching and research? Come to this session to learn more about copyright, what professors and researchers can do, and how to assess your rights and risks. This will be a hands-on session where you can learn how to make a fair use evaluation, how to find University of Utah copyright policies, and who to contact for copyright help.
