Dr. Kanner specializes in pulmonary function and rehabilitation, and in advance lung disease. He is a professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and has research interests in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and the harmful effects of fine particles on lung health.
