Navigating the Case

Navigating through EnviroDx is very easy. You use the pull-down menus and buttons in the top frame, which will look like this once you start the case:

Menus

• The first pull-down menu, on the left side of the frame, is the main menu. Use this pull-down menu to move between major sections of the case.
  You should start with the first section and move sequentially through the sections. Instructions for navigating within each section will appear on the first screen of each section.
  
  
• The second pull-down menu, the section menu, is specific to the History section. You can use this pull-down menu to move between specific parts of the History section. Again, you should move sequentially through the parts. This menu is not needed in the other major sections of the program.

Buttons

You can click on any of these buttons in the top frame at any time:

• Mentor button
  If at any time you have a problem with the case, or are unsure what to do next, just click this button! I will appear in a pop-up browser window to guide you with context-sensitive help. Try it now by clicking this Mentor button:
  
  
• Notebook button
  As you work your way through the case, your findings will be maintained in a "Notebook," which you can refer to at any time with this button. You may print your Notebook findings by clicking the "Print Notebook" button (Netscape 4 or higher and Internet Explorer 5 or higher) or by right-clicking in the Notebook frame and selecting "Print" from the popup menu. View your empty Notebook now by clicking this Notebook button:
  
  
• Glossary button
  If you encounter an unfamiliar medical term, you can look it up in our online Glossary. This Glossary contains definitions of commonly used terms for environmental and occupational medicine. You can access this now if you like:
