The purpose of the project is to bring the extraordinary history of the University of Utah School of Medicine and Health Sciences Center to the Internet.The project selects images from the archives of the Medical Illustration Department in the School of Medicine, which includes over 100,000 photographs from University Archives.
The University of Utah Health Sciences Photographs project is a collaborative effort between the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, the J. Willard Marriott Library, and the libraries constituting the Utah Academics Library Consortium (UALC). The project is funded by the Marriner S. Eccles Foundation.
