The patient can take a third capsule of 500 mg tetracycline in the evening, and apply Cleocin lotion and Retin-A 0.025% cream. In actuality, the Cleocin lotion can be omitted when using an oral antibiotic as there may be little if any additional benefit using the topical antibacterial, and its additional expense.
