Herpes zoster

John L. Bezzant,M.D.

This patient had herpes zoster involving the first branch of the trigeminal nerve, and he developed secondary staphylococcus aureus infection. I treated him with Zovirax, 800 mg five times a day for seven days, and erythromycin, 250 mg four times daily for 10 days.
