Parasystolic rhythms involve an independent ectopic
pacemaker resulting in nonfixed coupled premature
beats. Parasystole may occur in the atria, as seen
in this example, in the AV junction, and in the ventricles.
Note the common inter-ectopic interval separating
the parasystolic PAC's.
