Four adjacent nuclei receive input from the vestibular nerve whose connections are too complex for the novice or professor. The vestibular nuclei output is to the MLF, lateral vestibulospinal tract and medial vestibulospinal tract and to the cerebellum through the inferior cerebellar peduncle.
