Dental development in children ages 0-5 years of age

The stage of dental development seen here is approximately in the fifth year of life. The deciduous teeth are becoming more spaced, the first and second deciduous molars are fully erupted, and you can see the sixth year molars (1st permanent molars) beginning to come to the surface. The central incisors are the first teeth to be lost.
