The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, University of Utah, seeks an innovative, energetic, and experienced individual to fill the position of Deputy Director. The Deputy Director oversees the daily operations of the Library with a high degree of independence and represents the Library in the Director's absence. This position is instrumental in planning, communication, and leadership. This is a tenure-track faculty appointment, reporting to the Director.

This individual will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary group in contributing to the development of immersion learning experiences to meet the needs of health care trainees and professionals at the University of Utah, Hospitals and Clinics. The primary responsibility of the Web Developer position is to provide web development, programming, design, scripting, graphics and content management for web sites associated with the Eccles Health Sciences Library and special projects as assigned. The position requires knowledge of graphic and web development techniques and tools. In a team environment, the individual will participate in the development of functional, aesthetically sound Web sites and related Web services to in-house and remote users.
