As Executive Director, Knowledge Management and Eccles Health Sciences Library, Jean administers the health sciences library and its branch library, the Hope Fox Eccles Health Library. She is the Director for Information Transfer for the Center for Medical Innovation and is an adjunct faculty member of the Department of BioInformatics, School of Medicine. She serves as principal investigator for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, MidContinental Region and the NLM Training Office. She administers budgets, strategic planning, and formulates policy for information resources, programs, and services; advances new and innovative technologies in the health professions; supports health sciences faculty development in using new technologies for patient care, education and research; and provides campus leadership in scholarly communications and research support.
