Peter S. Jones, MyRA Research Concierge/Informationist

Peter Jones joined the Eccles Library in November of 2010.

He currently serves the Center for Clinical and Translational Science as the Research Concierge/Informationist.

In this role, he assists clinical and translational researchers with finding resources, skill sets and collaborators, and more generally, works to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the research enterprise on the health sciences campus. He also oversees the development, care and feeding of the My Research Assistant (MyRA) web portal and all its various servers and resources.

He likes cats, computers, walking and coffee (not necessarily in that order).

• Technology (particularly the use of web technology to deliver information and resources)
• Technology Instruction and Educational Technology
• Clinical Research: processes, resources and culture
• Data Management (REDCap)
• BioStatistics and Data Analysis (R, Stata, Python)
• System Administration (Ubuntu and RHE Linux)
