  • Pediatrics on Hand, Professional Medical Links
This website, developed by an M.D. in his internship, has grown into a rich resource site of free and fee-based software and applications for the PDA. A note from the author: " This site grew out of what I thought was a distinct void on the net. In my intern year at Children's National Medical Center (DC Children's) one of our chiefs at the time was eager to try to get PDA's into our residency. He (Bill Tsai, MD) wrote an internal grant to cover the costs and was awarded the cash. I was probably the biggest handheld junkie at the time and offered to help him find programs to load on the Handspring Visors. Also I agreed to help him administer the project, affectionately called the "Intern Visor Project."
  • Peripheral Brain.com: Palm OS Handhelds for Clinical Practices
This Web site has been designed to serve as a starting point for physicians who are interested in exploring the potential of Palm OSŪ handheld computers in clinical practice. The links provided are not intended to be comprehensive, and will often be influenced by the author's personal interests and specialty orientation, which consists primarily of outpatient family medicine. Nevertheless, I hope that medical users in all fields will find something of value here.
