International Presentations:

Movie Clips:

  • Movie files: vary in size from 200K-15 MB
  • Movie clip length: 10 seconds to 2 minutes
  • Movies can be viewed online at full screen size for presentation to large groups, with the option to display closed captions.

Optimal Website Performance for Video viewing?

  • INTERNET CONNECTION SPEED: As of 2016, the videos that play online from within a web page are streamed to your computer or mobile device from a video distribution platform that intelligently adjusts the quality of the video to match your Internet connection speed or cellular service. If you have a slow connection speed, it may take a moment for all of the video "poster frames" to load up for an individual page.

How were the movies produced?

  • Camera: Cannon mini DV XL1s (original movies)
  • Editing: Adobe Premiere 6 (original movies) and Final Cut Pro
  • HTML Authoring: Macromedia Dreamweaver 4
  • Video Compression: Cleaner 5 using the Sorensen 3 codec at a 90:1 ratio.
  • High Quality QuickTime, Windows Media and MP4 movie files were compressed with Apple Compressor and Telestream's Episode software
  • Movie Assembly: QuickTime Pro
  • 2016: New versions of the original videos were created and are being distributed through the Kaltura Video Repository and Publishing Platform.
