        We had a good run with the laser-vision 12-inch videodiscs from 1985 to 2005. Twenty years is a worthy record for the use of a technology. That said, this  website still contains a great deal of information about the project and its databank of 44,000 images, mostly as an historical record for a far-reaching endeavor and an acknowledgement of Slice of Life's  250 contributors.To read more about the Slice of Life project and its image databank on videodisc, refer to the various links in the Table of Contents on the left side of this page.
