Tommy is a 10 year old boy who is repeating 3rd grade in the public school system. He has had difficulty with reading since the 1st grade. This year, his work has become sloppy, and he has become disruptive in the classroom.
This teaching exercise has been written to allow learners flexibility in the way that they navigate through the case. The experience should take 30-90 minutes to complete, depending on learners' pre-existing level of familiarity with childhood learning problems.
