Considerations for Custom Template Creation

At the University of Utah, templates are customized by the Marriott Library IT staff. When requesting customization, you should provide the programmer with all the specific information needed to edit the template.

• Customizable elements of the template:
  • Header
    • Is there a unique logo
    • Do you want the collection title displayed
    • Do you need specific colors?
  • Footer
    • Do you want your organization identified
    • Do you need contact information
  • Navigation
    • Do you have specific URLs for links in the toolbars
  • Style
    • What color, font, layout do you want?
