Users who have a username beginning with "USER\".

Due to some unforseen networking issues, usernames in the "USER\" domain fail to login intermittently. If you currently log in using a username in this domain, and are having problems either logging in to, or uploading from Acquisition Station, please contact Systems Development/Marriott Library so we can set you up with a new improved username which will not encounter these type of intermittent problems.

Users who receive new computers, or install the Acquisition Station on a new computer.

This is a reminder that all upload priveleges are based on your IP address, and if your IP address changes for one of the above reasons, or some other mysterious reason, this could be the cause of upload problems. Systems Development/Marriott Library will need to enter your new IP address into the security database.

Settings in Acquisition Station.

When your project window is open in Acquisition Station, click the Tools -> Options menu and click the "Upload" tab. Your program should be set to the top option, "FTP upload" and your username and password should be entered there. It is OK to check the save password box. Click the Advanced button to the right of the password box and you will get an option for active FTP or passive FTP. Some users have found that having it set to active FTP will prevent any uploading. Please make sure this is set to "passive FTP."
