Instructional Media Services (IMS) provides support and assistance in the use of Instructional Technology to the faculty, students, and staff of the University of Utah.

Our mission is to provide the campus community with the highest quality of presentation technology, training, and support services in an effective and proactive environment

IMS supports the University through Audiovisual Distribution, Campus Video Services, Media Duplication, and Technical Support.

Campus Video Services: IMS Campus Video Services provides quality videotaping of traditional courses, lectures, student presentations, and other special events on the University of Utah campus.

All video acquisition is done through digital video media and can be transferred to nearly any analog or digital viewing format. Campus Video Services can also assist with high-end audio recordings that can be saved as computer files or standard CDs.

The Campus Video Services studio is also perfect for recording interviews and other professional presentations to meet your instructional needs.

IMS offers audio and video streaming for any traditional University class, special event, or lecture series. Events can be streamed live or encoded for archived streaming and download. IMS can also podcast any University class, special event, or lecture. Events can be streamed live or encoded for archived streaming and download.
