- The Hinckley Institute was established in 1965 through the generous bequest of the Noble Foundation and Robert H. Hinckley. It is dedicated to teaching students respect for practical politics and the principle of citizen involvement in government. Many political dialogues and forums are recorded for audio and video playback. Archives are available through KUER-FM. New distribution options are being explored through the University of Utah's UPOD service and the Utah Education Network's Digital Media Service for K-12 and higher education, as well as the Institute's own website.
