What are others doing? Accessing the CONTENTDM-L Archives

If you are researching what others are doing with CONTENTdm, the CONTENTDM-L Archives can be a good resource.

• If you know when a message was posted, or just want to browse, you can go directly to the Archives listed by date. You don't need to subscribe to the listserv to see the Archives in this way.

• To search the Archives, go to the Archive Search page. You will need to log in with the your listserv login. If you can't remember this, there is an option to have it sent to your email address.

  On the search page, don't forget to click the checkbox next to "CONTENTDM-L" to select the list to search! It's at the bottom in the main frame. A "String" search or a "Subject Contains" search usually works well.

If you are not already subscribed to the CONTENTDM-L listserve, you can do so:

• Using the e-mail address to which you want listserv posts sent, send an e-mail to contentdmlistserv@oclc.org, with the subject "CONTENTDM-L Subscription Request". Include the name of the licensing organization with which you are affiliated in the body of the e-mail. If your organization or partnering institution has a current CONTENTdm license, the OCLC listserv administrator will send a welcome message and a registration confirmation to the e-mail address you entered. To finish registering your account, you must respond to the e-mail as instructed in the registration confirmation message.
