Need more study space?

Beginning Friday, March 5, 2010 at 8 am, medical students have alternative study space located in the old hospital cafeteria on level A of the School of Medicine.

The study space:

  • is temporary until the library building re-opens.
  • has about 12 carrels and wireless networking via UConnect and UGuest.
  • Offers 24/7 access but is not secured. Students are advised not to leave belongings unattended.
  • Reminder: only UCard access after-hours to the School of Medicine building, from approximately 6pm – 6am.

“We are very grateful to the Hospital administration for creating this space and making it available. We are also grateful to the Library leadership for the furnishings. Please treat the area with respect…” – message to medical students from David J. Bjorkman, M.D., M.S.P.H.
