Presentation: Informatics For The Nationwide Learning Health System

Charles Friedman will help us kick off the development of a strategic plan for creating a local “Learning Health System.” He will explain the concept of a Learning Health System on a national scale and how it relates to us as an academic medical center.

Dr. Friedman is the director of the University of Michigan health informatics program, and previously was the ONC Deputy National Coordinator and Chief Scientific Officer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Everyone is welcome to attend, refreshments will be served following the presentation.
