The Eccles Library is pleased to announce that beginning on April 1, 2016 AccessMedicine will allow simultaneous access for an unlimited number of users.

Through careful negotiation the Eccles Library has secured an expanded site license for McGraw-Hill’s AccessMedicine database. Previously, only 3 people could access the database at one time, but as of April 1st, that limit will be lifted and there will be no restriction on the number of concurrent users who can access the database!

A robust educational tool, the AccessMedicine collection contains over 95 e-books including standard texts such as  CURRENT Medical Diagnosis and TreatmentHarrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine, and Sherris Medical Microbiology.

In addition to e-books the database also includes 250 examination and procedural videos, quick reference tools, and more.  This valuable resource is available both on and off campus through the Eccles Library’s Databases A-Z List. Individual books can also be found via the Library catalog . A mobile app version will also soon become available.

This unlimited access is right around the corner!  It will be here before you know it! Contact the Library for additional information or to request assistance in using AccessMedicine.
