We add our voices to those who have spoken out against this and state that the University of Utah Libraries (Marriott Library, Eccles Health Sciences Library, and Faust Law Library) stand with those around the world who are protesting systemic oppression and violence.

Surgeon, teacher, dean, humanitarian – Philip Price is rightly remembered as the Founding Father of the modern-day School of Medicine. Dr. Price came to the University of Utah in 1943 to oversee the establishment of the four-year program as Chair of the Department of Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief at the Salt Lake County General Hospital.
