Welcome Back!

As we begin another exciting academic year, I look forward to reconnecting with those returning and creating new connections with those just joining the University of Utah Health Sciences community. The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library is an exciting home to historical artifacts and innovative technologies. We are grateful to be the hub for Health Sciences students, faculty, clinicians, and staff to connect and collaborate.

Whether you are accessing the libraries from your office, home, or mobile device, or if you are physically using our campus spaces, we welcome you to explore the many information resources and services at your fingertips. The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library is here to assist you as you discover the many terrific ways to retrieve, analyze and store what you need to be effective at your job or with your learning. I am grateful for the dedication of our faculty and staff, who continue to work tirelessly to keep our building staffed and answer urgent questions while creating comfortable study and collaboration areas for faculty and students.

As we journey through our new semester, I hope we will each continue to extend patience to ourselves and others. Our new normal is not without its hiccups, and we are grateful for the impact of the health and quality of life our library has provided our campus and Utah communities.
