Spring 2020 Community Read – Battling Over Birth: Black Women & The Maternal Health Care Crisis – MARCH DATE POSTPONED

January – April. Community Read for the Spring 2020 Semester is “Battling Over Birth: Black Women and the Maternal Health Care Crisis”. Meetings will be monthly, on the last Tuesday of each month.

Evening Ethics presents STUMPED: Film screening and Q&A

Will Lautzenheizer, after losing his arms and legs to a deadly infection, became the third patient to undergo a double-arm transplantation at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. The documentary follows his experiences, and the Q&A will discuss the medical ethics encountered on his journey.
