Starting on June 14th the community is invited to gather at NOON in the lower level of EHSL, enjoy a light lunch, and have a lively discussion of the book. |
I’ll Go and Do More: Annie Dodge Wauneka, Navajo Leader and Activist is the story of Annie Dodge Wauneka (1918–97), daughter of Navajo leader, Chee Dodge, three term member of the Navajo Tribal Council, advocate for Navajo public health and education, the first Native American to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and The Legendary Mother of the Navajo Nation, as recognized by the Navajo Council.
