Eccles Health Sciences Library<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/medicine.utah.edu\/obgyn\/coe-womens-health\/\" target=\"_blank\">Center of Excellence in Women&#8217;s Health<\/a> are co-sponsoring a half-day conference focused on sex and gender differences research and women&#8217;s health. The intent of the conference is to raise the visibility of University of Utah researchers who are considering sex and gender differences in their research. Join us <strong>Wednesday, September 3<\/strong> from <strong>Noon until 4:30 p.m.<\/strong> in the <strong>Eccles Institute of Human Genetics (EIHG) Auditorium and Atrium.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of this event, the Clifford C. Snyder, M.D. and Mary Snyder Lecturer is <strong>Carolyn Clancy,<\/strong> M.D., Interim Under Secretary for Health Veterans Health Administration Department of Veterans Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>There are two panels, one before and one after Dr. Clancy&#8217;s talk. The first panel addresses <strong>Resources Available to Researchers<\/strong> and features Kathleen Digre, Rachel Hess, John Langell, Tom Parks and Michael Varner. The second panel addresses <strong>Incorporating Sex &amp; Gender into the Research Process<\/strong> and features David Perrin, Mary Elizabeth Hartnett, Janet Shaw, Sara Simonsen and Louisa Stark.<\/p>\n<p>A poster session with light lunch takes place at Noon-1:00 in the Lobby.
