Eccles Health Sciences Library<\/a>, in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/diversity.utah.edu\/centers\/airc\/\">American Indian Resource Center<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/uofuhealth.utah.edu\/inclusion\/\">Office of Health Equity and Inclusion<\/a> are co-sponsoring the following <strong>two upcoming presentations<\/strong> in recognition of November as American Indian Resource Center at the University of Utah.\u00a0 She specializes in traditional Indigenous knowledge and ethnobotany and is a participating\u00a0member of the Indigenous People\u2019s working group at the United Nations. She has taught classes on\u00a0interactions between colonialism and indigenous peoples at the University of Leiden, The Nederlands, and community-based research in American Indian communities.\u00a0Ms. Taylor is a member of the Choctaw Tribe and is a traditional dancer and craft worker.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Native Voices and Pick Your Poison are two of the many traveling banner exhibits in the <\/em><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/hmd\/about\/exhibition\/index.html\"><em>National Library of Medicine\u2019s Exhibition Program<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the 2017 Pick Your Poison Exhibit and in continuation of the 2015 Native Voices Lecture Series, the Spencer S.
