In honor of African American History Month, the Office of Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) and the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library (EHSL) at the University of Utah are pleased to invite you to a Celebratory Retrospective on the History of African Americans in Utah. There will be 3 special presentations throughout the exhibit, they are as follows:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Dr. Ron Coleman<\/strong> speaker on History of African Americans in Early Utah. 2\/8\/18 and 2\/15\/18<\/p>\n

\u2022 Dr. Wilfred Samuels<\/strong> honoree<\/p>\n

\u2022 Pastor Davis<\/strong> speaker on History of African American Religion\/Spirituality in Utah. 2\/22\/18<\/p>\n

The exhibit runs February 2-February 28, 2018<\/strong> at EHSL and is open during regular library hours. A community reception in honor of African American History Month will be held at EHSL on Friday, February 2, 2018, 4:00-5:30PM<\/strong>. The support of Rev. France Davis, the Calvary Baptist Church, and the J.
