Jeanne Le Ber
Jeanne Le Ber has worked at the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library since 1979. She received her Masters of Library and Information Science from Brigham Young University in December 1992. Jeanne served as the Education Librarian from 1994 until 2010.
In 2010, Jeanne was appointed the Associate Director for Education and Research. In this position, Jeanne is responsible for public services, including operations of the front desk and reference, and she directs and mentors the Teaching and Learning, Interprofessional Education and Research Librarians.
Jeanne is the current editor of eSynapse, the Library's newsletter. In addition, Jeanne is the project lead for the Building Awareness of Sex and Gender Differences Research, Phase II project. As part of this project, the S&GDR team developed a Research Guide with links to a variety of significant resources on the topic. Jeanne coordinates the annual InfoFair (the 2014 event is focused on sex and gender differences and women's health) and Mayden Lecture. (View Current CV as a PDF document.)
In her free time, Jeanne is an avid birdwatcher (520 North American birds on her life list) and member of the Great Salt Lake Audubon society.
