The Knowledge Weavers Project: Tools, Templates and Outreach

Abstract:

The Knowledge Weavers project is a three-year grant funded from the National Library of Medicine to create tools and templates for use in health sciences education. Templates will be created to facilitate development of five kinds of educational Web sites: quizzes, cases, didactic, disease information, and image banks. The templates use back-end databases to store content. In addition, the Knowledge Weavers offers outreach services to interested health sciences educators.

Benefit in Attending Session:

Participants will learn how they can use templates to facilitate development of customized learning materials on the Web, and learn about the outreach and educational services offered by the Knowledge Weavers.
