Use
of LXR software to Create Question Banks & Examinations

A commercially available software will be used to create and manage
question banks from which instructors can create standard written exams, as
well exams on-line using a server or individual computer. How to create
different format questions, catalog questions for grouping, analysis and
sorting questions by type and multiple version tests will be demonstrated. How to import questions from already
existing word processing programs will be demonstrated as well the importing of
color graphics, charts and line drawings.
Scoring of exams on-line will be demonstrated, as well as the creation
of grade books by direct importing of test results into standard spreadsheet
software. Completion of the workshop
should allow the participant to create and manage a complete testing bank of
questions and create a personalized testing protocol.
