A commercially available software will be used to create and manage question banks from which instructors can create standard written exams, as well exams on-line using a server or individual computer. How to create different format questions, catalog questions for grouping, analysis and sorting questions by type and multiple version tests will be demonstrated.  How to import questions from already existing word processing programs will be demonstrated as well the importing of color graphics, charts and line drawings.  Scoring of exams on-line will be demonstrated, as well as the creation of grade books by direct importing of test results into standard spreadsheet software.  Completion of the workshop should allow the participant to create and manage a complete testing bank of questions and create a personalized testing protocol.
