Abstract:
The Associate Fellowship in Integrative
Medicine is a 2-year distributed learning program for physicians who desire to
incorporate the philosophies and techniques of integrative medicine into their
medical practice. Integrative medicine is based on a partnership between the

With these in mind, we have crafted an innovative format our Web-based
materials, while catering to an audience with low-bandwidth Internet
connections.
To successfully and consistently
incorporate humanizing elements into our Web-based learning materials, we have
developed internal guidelines for our development team. These guidelines include:
Benefit in Attending
Session:
This session will give rationale for our
humanizing development guidelines and show interesting examples of the
guidelines in action. We will also hand out a summary of our guidelines that
others are free to incorporate into their own projects.
