Abstract:

Medical Forum (est 1990 - non profit making) has over the past year been developing distance learning career review and evaluation programmes for doctors from all over the world - and as far afield as the Ukraine, Italy and Australia.

The founder of Medical Forum and presenter of this demonstration (herself an ex- ophthalmologist) works part time for several medical educational/academic institutions but is putting forward this demonstration as an independent medical education consultant.

This presentation offers a specific multimedia presentation on the various ways we have reached our target learners and how IT has revolutionised our approach to providing specialised career guidance on a global basis. This will be combined with a live link up to the author in the UK for questions.

The methods used to date for educational purposes include:
