ABSTRACT:

CME - continuing medical education - has undergone significant changes driven by practice realities, regulations and educational theory. The REAL work to come, however, will be driven by the newly emerging field of knowledge translation - the marriage of technology and clinical need.

This presentation, a stab at picturing the practice and continuously learning life of the physician in 2012 will highlight some of these changes and promises to provoke discussion. While it may also be, like all futuristic projections, totally off base, it will be fun.
