Educators
Andy Wasserman, TransMedia

ABSTRACT:
Attendees will have a chance to view the 3 most popular E-Book software programs currently used in educational settings. These E-Book programs by Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/products/ebookreader/main.html), Microsoft
(http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/pc.asp), and Night Kitchen's "TK3" (http://www.nightkitchen.com) function on personal computers, without the need for a dedicated hardware E-Book reading device. The demonstration will include both the authoring side as well as the use of the stand-alone reader.
BENEFIT TO
PARTICIPANTS ATTENDING SESSION:
Most people are still unfamiliar with what E-Books are, and how they are used. This demo will give "how-to" information, as well give participants the opportunity to gain a perspective on the technological innovations that E-Books offer for educational content delivery. E-Book tools show great promise for both students and educators because of their ability to compile, sort, and publish information.
