TK3 - Finally a Real Multimedia E-Book
Andy Wasserman,
TransMedia Sound & Music, Schooleys Mountain, New Jersey, USA
ABSTRACT:
Night Kitchen's "TK3" (http://www.nightkitchen.com) gives educators and students a true multimedia tool for multimedia publishing on any personal computer platform without the need for a dedicated hardware E-Book reading device. Unlike other E-Book software platforms and "compilers," TK3 allows both the author and the end-user to manipulate text, audio, video, graphics, and animation in a very intuitive and personalized way. This keynote will give a tour of both TK3 Author and Reader, and show how this technology is paving the way for the delivery of digital content.
BENEFIT TO PARTICIPANTS
ATTENDING SESSION:
This keynote should be of great interest to both educators, content developers and students, since TK3 is both very inexpensive to purchase, and easier to learn to use than almost any multimedia authoring software currently available. It offers us a glimpse into the future of the world of educational multimedia software creation open to anyone needing to publish, study, or share information. This is a new technology taking us in new directions.
