New dimensions for Handheld Devices

ABSTRACT:

 

A small group (limit twelve participants) will participate in an interactive half-day session exploring next-generation applications for PDAs.  Participants in this demo will glimpse the next generation in applications designed for various "flavors" of the Personal Digital Assistant.  Stressed will be placed on newer functionalities including electronic prescribing, Evidence Based Medicine, and tracking of both medical students and patients.  Wireless access to Internet on these devices will also be explored.  Participants will have access to CPUs and flat screen monitors in teams of two.

 

BENEFIT TO PARTICIPANTS ATTENDING SESSION:
