Introduction to Dreamweaver 4.0: the Bare Bones

ABSTRACT:

This hands-on workshop will provide the participants with a very basic and quick introduction to Dreamweaver 4.0, a visual Web site development tool. Users will learn how to design a Web page as well as create, manage and publish a Web site.

This workshop is designed for novice Web developers or instructors who want to learn the bare-bones minimum of what they need to know to create and publish a simple Web site. Learn how to visually design and manage Web pages and Web sites using Dreamweaver 4.0. This hands-on workshop will provide users with a basic overview of Dreamweaver's features including: Web site management, content management (includes adding images and hypertext links to a Web page as well as the design of the page layout) and Web publishing. Prerequisite: knowledge of basic HTML is recommended, but not required. Hands-on, half-day; maximum 10 students (depending on number of lab machines available)

You can overcome your fears and have an expert help you start being a web developer. Its not so hard if you are trained in the tricks and shortcut as well as traps to avoid when creating web-based materials.
