Structure of Acetyl CoA

The structure of Acetyl CoA consists of two parts.

1.  Acetyl group
2.  Coenzyme A

• Beta-mercaptoethylamine
• Pantothenic acid (not synthesized in man -- an essential nutrient)
• Phosphate
• 3', 5'-adenosine diphosphate
