Midwifery Program Admission Requirements

In addition to the requirements of the University of Utah Graduate School and the College of Nursing, the Nurse-Midwifery Program gives preference to applicants with labor and delivery nursing experience and requires neonatal resuscitation certification, basic life support certification, and the ability to spend one eight week period in a full time Nurse-Midwifery internship toward the end of the program.
