Student Clinical Experience

The Nurse-Midwifery Program offers several student clinical experience opportunities with urban and rural communities of the Intermountain West. BirthCare-HealthCare is a community based primary health care faculty practice used for student experience. This faculty practice includes nurse-midwives and other nurse practitioners. Other clinical sites used by the students include several individual Nurse-Midwifery practices, several tertiary level hospitals, and several Level I and Level II hospitals within Utah. Students may also access out-of-state nurse-midwifery practices and intrapartum sites if appropriate.
