• WELCOME RECEPTION & DINNER •

THURSDAY, JUNE 26, 2003, 6:30 P.M.
at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

The Welcome Reception and Dinner at the Internationally renowned University of Pennsylvania Museaum of Archaeology and Anthropology will change the day's pace.  You must register for this ahead of time so we can make the proper arrangements including food and beverages.  We welcome attendees ($10) and their guests ($45).  The museum is within walking distance of the hotel and residence halls.  No shuttle service will be provided.  For four hours this evening, we will have reserved the upper floor, which includes buffet stations and bar in the Chinese rotunda and an opportunity to visit Upper Egypt, Buddhist and Near East galleries.  Enjoy jazz music from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. and then from 9 - 10:30 p.m. performed by Bernie Eskin and his six piece faculty jazz band the "Philhormonics".  The band is a great mix of professors at the various Philadelphia medical schools.  As you may have guessed this band includes an endocrinologist.  Please click here for a flyer that can be printed and a complete description of the event.  Photo above: The Museum of Archeology and Anthropology .
