HOW TO
PUBLISH YOUR PAPER ONLINE
-
This year's option:
publish on the web in pdf format, to be read with Adobe Acrobat and
linked to your abstract.
-
Submission of papers is
optional.
-
You can make your paper as long or
as short as you'd like. You can include figures, screen shots,
diagrams, photos, and anything else that can be converted to pdf
format.
-
If you have the software to convert your paper into a
pdf file, please do so to save us the work. If you do not,
Suzanne Stensaas will convert it for you. However, she is on a
Mac, so send only MS Word files. No Quark, Pagemaker, Word
Perfect or other programs unless you have converted them to pdf.
-
You can also convert to html PowerPoint and submit
your presentation with audio if you choose. Test it with both Netscape
and IE, on PC and Mac before sending. We are not a test site.
-
Each paper will be linked
to the appropriate abstract on the Slice of Life website and
continue to be accessible just as are past programs. You can use
the site URL as a publication reference.
-
Submit your paper to both
Amanda Smith at Gold Standard Multimedia, smith.a@gsm.com,
and Suzanne Stensaas at suzanne.stensaas@hsc.utah.edu.

Institute
of Contemporary Art (http://www.icaphila.org)
|
One
of the most striking contemporary buildings in Philadelphia.
Designed by the internationally acclaimed architect Adele Naude
Santos, the ICA provides a unique setting for receptions. The
glass and limestone building includes a spectacular second floor
outdoor terrace. We have reserved the
Upper Landing for registration as well as the adjacent Terrace.
Pick up your registration bag with program and abstracts, relax
after a pre-workshop and meet old, or make new friends as you also
roam the gallery. The event and complimentary refreshments are
sponsored by Gold Standard Multimedia.
Then take our list of nearby restaurants and form a group for dinner.
