
The Eccles Health Sciences Library congratulates Samantha Nunn on her new role as Program Manager for the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Training Office. She now is responsible for administering day-to-day operations along with the organization and logistics of the program. Previously, Samantha was the project manager for NNLM Region 4. Sam’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an Emphasis in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Utah. She is currently attending the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University to attain a Master’s Degree in Library Science with a Concentration in Health Information Professionals. Her long-term goal is to become a health sciences librarian at a hospital or health sciences academic library, where she can serve the biomedical and health information needs of medical students, faculty, researchers, health professionals, and their patients in order to strengthen the well-being of the community.

We also would like to congratulate Sarah Dickey on her new role as Electronic Resources Manager for the Eccles Health Sciences Library. In this role, she supports the library’s efforts to acquire, organize, and provide access to electronic databases, e-books, e-journals, and web-based information services. For a decade, Sarah held the position of Program Manager for NNLM Training Office. Sarah has lived in Utah her entire life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Digital Media from Utah Valley University in 2009. After graduation, she was a Media Assistant at an elementary school and an Administrative Assistant at a local engineering firm. In addition to her position at EHSL, she serves on the University of Utah Staff Council. In her free time, she enjoys tending to her garden, spending time with her children, and enjoying the outdoors.
